It is a Wüsthof knife with a high price and high quality. It follows the old saying you get what you pay for. The knife is an excellent deboning knife and fits well with my kitchen collection of knives.
It's a great knife and well worth the money. I have replaced my old set with Wusthof Classic and only wish I did it sooner
This thing is amazing for carving up brisket for smoking. It is super sharp so wear gloves and it is a real workhorse.

This knife makes carving raw meat a joy. It slides through the meat like butter and was so easy to carve a chuck roast into stew meat, remove bone and chunks of fat. It is well worth the money spent.
This is my third Wuhsthof. I have the chef's knife and the pairing knife too. Flawless , superior and perfectly balanced. It feels good in your hand and is a pleasure to use. I'm going to buy another!

Not that I've owned that many but still worth the investment according to me. Used mainly for deboning chicken (mostly thighs and drumsticks) so far and has made the job that much quicker and easier.

Having the right tool for the job makes the job easier. This Wüsthof Classic 1040101416 Chef's Knife makes it a lot easier to fillet larger fish, like the 32 inch, 14 pound, gag grouper I caught last Saturday in the Gulf of Mexico near Carrabelle, Florida, U.S.A. For filleting larger fish, the knife, which is really a flexible boning knife, has the perfect combination of stiffness and flexibility. Moreover, the knife is well balanced and sharp. I am sure the knife would perform many other tasks very well, but for filleting smaller fish, you would probably want to use one of the flexible Wusthof fillet knives.
