This is a really nice set of knives.

I already had 6 Classic steak knives and LOVED them, so I decided to upgrade to a full block set. This one fit the bill perfectly for me, even though I ended up with 3 extra empty slots.No problem! I just ordered piecemeal the best Classic knives that fit my needs. For anyone who’s curious, I bought the 6” utility knife, the 7” fillet knife and the 2 3/4” peeling knife. You can see how they all look together in this picture.Overall, I couldn’t be any happier with with set. All the knives are super-sharp, and I have a feeling these will last a lifetime, and eventually become a heirloom for my kid who also loves to cook.

Great knife set. High quality, nice weight, and sharp. Best set of cutlery I have owned. Love the solid feel all the way through the handle. Easy to control and maneuver through both meats and the finest fruits.

I don't know about the background experience of others reading this. I feel like this set of knives is the best thing I own in the kitchen. I have never had a sharp/quality set of knives before. This is the set I have been saving for and I am not disappointed. I believe that this set is a better price point that I have seen before and I highly recommend this as an investment.

I always wanted a nice set of kitchen knives. This was a birthday gift to myself. I reccomend these knives to anyone. They are extremely sharp and durable. I ended up buying the steak knives separately, but I just had to gave a matching set of wusthof knives.

Knives keep an edge, items boxed excellently for shipping, the block is usable but it had a chip of wood missing. I didn’t return it because it was for me, and it is functional.
