  Excellent quality as expected of Wusthof. If you routinely slice skin on tomatoes this is an awesome knife. Yes all in the Wusthof Classic line of knives are pricey, but these will last a lifetime and be passed along to your grandkids and more. Well worth the higher cost if you can afford them and want excellent knives.

  Best knife. But hand wash. Dishwasher will dull the blade. But great brand and cuts tomatoes like butter! Two thumbs up!!!!

  Near as I can tell this isn't forged - it's just a serrated knife. I always use high-end knives but I'm not sure this one is anything special - I suspect the price is more associated with the brand than with any particular feature of the knife.It is great at spearing olives and getting them out of jars, and it passed the tomato slice test with flying colors. So I'm happy with it.

  This knife cuts tomatoes like nothing I’ve ever seen. It seems like you can never keep a regular blade sharp enough to cut through a tomato but this one does it! It’s perfectly balanced. That point is great but wow is it menacing. I kept the guard that it came with so I don’t accidentally poke myself getting it out if the drawer! Highly recommend!
