This knife is real quality, as is most of the Wusthof line. Fits perfectly in my hand, and is extremely sharp.
Extremely sharp and just the right size for paring.
holds the edge well, sharpens easily. i've been using mine as a steak knife as i prefer a smooth cut to sawing away at meat and it GLIDES.
This Wustof paring knife doesn’t disappoint for sharpness. However, it’s much lighter than my original one. I’ve come to expect a comfortable heaviness in Wustof knives. If you don’t mind a lighter ‘hand’ this is a handy knife to add to your set at this price point!
I bought both this the 4" model and both of them are great. I waited a few months to write the review because first I wanted to see how well the hold the factory edge and how well the sharpen up. They held the factory edge as well or better than any knife I've ever used and one of my kitchen knives is a Wüsthof classic knife. A friend of mine has a knife sharpening business and he puts an edge on a knife better than any factory edge I've ever experienced. Anyway it was 2 weeks ago that he touched up all my blades and these 2 are as sharp today as when he worked on them. I use them every day. The only bad thing I can say is if I had bought the 4" knife first, I wouldn't have seen the need to buy the 3.5" one but that's just a use thing not a quality complaint. I have kitchen knives of several brands and one thing I can say for certain, if I worked for Victornox, I'd be worried. These Wüsthof knives are only a little more expensive but way better...
It's sharp and sits perfectly in my hand. It doesn't have one of those giant handles I've come across lately, but instead fits snugly in the palm of my hand. I don't have tiny hands or anything (wear large gloves in women's sizes). And while I don't need it often, the clip point makes it easy to "dig out" the "spots" on potatoes and the like. Sorry - I'm no chef - there's probably a term for those spots.
This life is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to handle and super sharp!
This Wusthof knife is not as sturdy as the others I have. Very light weight - plastic handle. Not the expected quality I was hoping for.
I enjoy using my pairing knife so I purchased one as a gift. My daughter is slowly replacing the old cheap knives with the best knives. So I thought she would enjoy ☺️ it. one last knife she has to replace.
It's a wustof, what else can be said?
