Is it just me or is the handle on this knife very small? I'm 5'11" with what I would consider average sized features. I find this handle is a bit too small for my hand. I own a number of Wusthof Classic knives including an 8" & 7" Chef, 6" Utility, and a 7" Tomato knife and the handles on those are all considerably larger. I'll be returning this purchase.
In my opinion, Wustof is a manufacturer of quality. For knives, the Classic style is quite beautiful, a delight to use, chopping, dicing and slicing foods in my so-not-commercial kitchen and so easy to maintain. For knives, Wustof Classic is a great choice.
Well balanced, comfortable handle, very sharp - I love it! It was worth the money
German made knives are the best!!! Wustkof knives are excellent for the household chef!!! They require sharpening once in a while, but for the millions of non-professional CHEFS, they do a great job and are worth the extra money since they last for many years.
This is my new go-to prep knife. The blade is actually 4.75 inches, so it's a perfect “just-right” compromise between a 3- to 4-inch paring knife and a 6-inch utility knife. IMHO it is the ideal size for slicing and dicing fruits and vegetables or prepping small cuts of meat or fish prior to cooking. The Wusthof Classic Line has all the features of a professional grade knife (forged blades, full tangs) and the traditional looks (riveted black handle). Just a wonderful knife. Highly recommended.
I needed a knife that I could use professionally on the daily. It holds an edge fairly well and can be used in all the smaller tasks that I need it for. I would recommend this knife for home cooks as well because of its durability. Plus it’s Wusthof, the return policy is awesome and it’s strong enough to last a lifetime.
Worth every penny. Very sharp
great metal, great knife at a reasonable price.
Great all around kitchen knife. Heavy gage forged steel, and razor sharp.
Not your fault; but, I ordered the wrong size knife the first time Totaling 9" long.Only needed a 3.5" length serrated blade with a 4" handle totaling 7.5" stainless steel pairing knife!!!
