Best set ever owned!
Bought this as a gift, so all i can say about it is it's very pretty and extremely sharp. Very light weight, easy to hold.
Ordered twice both had a broken piece on the handle seems like a nice knife if the handle didn't arrive broken
Very pretty knife, I'll give it that, I love the handle and the blade looks good. It is fairly sharp, sliced through paper quick and easy, sliced throw a smoked ham with surprising ease.Downside though, it's difficult to tell how far the tang is, which means it's probably just a push or partial tang, which means the part of the knife that goes into the handle only goes part of the way, unlike the better knives there it goes the full length of the handle (you can tell those because you can usually see the blade all the way to the bottom of the handle). And to make it worse, the holster isn't part of the blade, it's just a metal plate that looks like it was spot welded to the blade, leaving some gaps. There is no wiggle, so at least that is good. However, while the blade is stainless, those spot welds are not. It didn't take much to develop some rust at those spots. It's tiny and not "in the way", but it's unsightly.Another part of the problem is with the bolster. There isn't one. It's just knife blade to the flat metal plate. I thought this wouldn't be an issue for knife control, but if you grasp the blade by the handle with thumb and forefinger on either side of the base of the blade, you'll quickly find that oval metal plate digging into your thumb and forefinger uncomfortably. If that little plate were only rounded a bit it would be so much better. I have another kitchen knife that has no bolster, but the handle is resin including that spot, with no plate, and the resin is rounded, so it doesn't dig into my thumb/finger.That being said this isn't exactly a blade for "fine" cutting, so I will likely rarely ever hold it like that, it's just that I did have to once and it became an obvious issue pretty quickly. Is this worth the price? I honestly don't think so. For the price bracket there are many that are significantly better and hit all the points. If it were closer to ~$40, I'd say yes, that would be good. So if you stumble across this on sale for $40-$50 and you really like that lovely handle (it really is wicked pretty), go for it. But I can't do better than 4/5. It misses too many marks for a really great knife. If I could rate on a scale of 100 I'd give it a 70, like... 3.5/5.
This review is for the Nakiri knife.I love this knife! I ordered a similar knife (a chef's knife) a few months ago and loved it so much that when I saw this was available, I quickly ordered it. It definitely did not disappoint! I have been cooking for around 40 years and like the chef's knife similar to this one, this is one of nicest knives I've ever used. It's incredibly sharp and it's beautiful.I've owned one nice set of knives (Cutco) and a lot of cheap knives. I was starting to think I needed to learn some new knife skills until I used this knife. It made me feel like a real chef. I think it took me half the usual time to prep the chicken and vegetables for the soup we had for dinner last night simply because of the quality of this knife.Note that this knife does not have a serrated edge. When I was looking at the item description photos, I wasn't sure (I blame my aging eyesight) so I wanted to point out that this is a straight-edged knife.Pros:* It came packaged in a way that you could give it as a gift.* It's incredibly sharp.* The weight is really nice... it's not too heavy (but heavy enough) and nicely balanced.* Both the handle and the blade are beautiful.* The price is a really good value... yes, it's more expensive than something you'd pick up at Walmart but the knife is better than the more expensive knives you'd find at a specialty store at a higher price.Cons: None other than the fact that it's so sharp you can easily cut yourself (which is not really a con except that I can't let my husband use it. lol).In summary, I highly recommend this knife!
I love forging and I'm a cook so I thought this would be badass but the waves are not as prominent as expecting. Other than that it's really well made and the balance is on point! I'm keeping it so its should say something still!
This may literally be one of the sharpest knives I've ever used. I used it to cut up some raw chicken sausage. If you've ever cut raw chicken, then you know how it tends to slide around unless you've got a super sharp knife. This knife sliced through it like it was butter. It sits super comfortable in my hands and my hands run pretty small compared to most people. On top of that, it's just a beautiful knife to have in the kitchen. It hits all the right notes with me and I'm definitely looking at getting some of the other knives in the set.
First and foremost, I have to say that this knife is an absolute work of art. The Damascus steel blade is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful pattern that is both unique and eye-catching.But this knife isn't just beautiful - it is also incredibly functional. The blade is razor-sharp, making it easy to slice through even the toughest of ingredients with ease. The balance and weight of the knife are also perfect, allowing for precise cuts and easy maneuverability.Additionally, I appreciate the attention to detail that Keenzo has put into this knife. The handle is ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip, and the full tang construction ensures that the blade is both strong and durable. Finally, I love the versatility of this knife. It is perfect for a wide range of kitchen tasks, from slicing and dicing to mincing and chopping. Whether you're a professional chef or a home cook, this knife is sure to become one of your go-to tools in the kitchen.Overall, I would highly recommend the professional kitchen knife made out of Damascus steel by Keenzo. It is a beautiful, functional, and versatile tool that is sure to impress anyone who loves to cook.
No es acero damasco real solo una impresion laser, es un producto de muy mala calidad.
Super shape but its very poorly made. It wobbles in your hand and its so light you feel like its a toy, which it very much isn't. Its not a full tang and the blade thickness is subpar.
