  Great knife. Razor sharp out of the box. Only complain is the tang is not perfectly even with the wooden handle and stick proud a bit. I love the height of the knife and the blade quality. Only had if for a few weeks, but so far it's excellent. I would recommend.

  I love the heavy, sturdy handle and sharpness of the blade. These two knives are my favorite in the knife collection. Comfortable and functional. Great product for the price.

  This is a very nice knife, except for one thing. A very nice blade with very good quality except for one location. The handle is large, comfortable and exhibits very good craftmanship. Unfortunately the one issue comes together in the handle and ruins this knife for me. The handle is standard three piece with quality wood bolsters, rivets (3) and the blade extending back from the tang through the handle to the butt. Standard very good knife handle, except ... The top edge of the blade extension through the handle is very poorly finished, perhaps not finished at all is a more accurate description. The bottom of the handel exhibits excellent craftsmanship with the three surfaces being flush and smooth - perfect. However at the top of the handle the blade extension extends slightly above the smooth well finished bolsters by enough to feel the two sharp edges of the blade extension for the full length of the handle. These sharp edges and accompanying burrs. are not comfortable. They ruin the handel and what is otherwise a very nice knife. As such they are deal breakers. Back it goes.

  This type of knife was new to me. It is truly a wonder for slicing and chopping vegetables. The weight and angle allow it to smoothly slice and chop. I will be ordering another as a gift for our son.

  I love this knife! I have seen a few people talk about this knife. I had one before that came with a different set, but it dropped and the handle broke. I was so bummed because that knife was the one I chopped onions and other hardy vegetables with. So I bought this one and wow, it's even better than the one from the set. But be careful! It's so sharp and I accidentally swiped my fingertip across it when I opened it. Guess that's a testament to how well it cuts. Seriously though, it's an amazing knife and works well through really hard vegetables and fruits, like pineapples, sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, and even my butternut squash cut like...well, butter.

  The blade is thin and has great geometry. Overall it's a decent chef knife except the handle has a bad fit and finish. The pins stick from the handle and you can feel the tang causing a slightly sharp edge when you grip the the knife. I'd give this a 5 star rating if the quality control was better.
