This knife is beautiful and feels great. Very well balanced and is super comfortable to hold and work with. This has now topped my list of favorite knives. I also have a Dalstrong Nakiri Phantom Vegetable knife but in my opinion this Wustof 7” Nakiri is far superior. I love this knife!

I’ve cooked as a passion since I was 17. The early 2000s had me watching Food Network and then hitting four separate shops in Hell’s Kitchen for ingredients. Then came kids. I fell off the cooking wagon. I don’t know how the hell people do it, but working full time and raising three girls just zapped any excess cooking energy from me. Bare minimum prevailed. Now, I am cooking more and wanted to treat myself and get some motivation. I purchased three Ikons: chef, santoku, and this one. I love them all and cherish them. This one does much, but has added a clever element to my game. It handles super well for cutting and carving, but it also chops. I love that it chops. It chops veggies like a muh and makes quick work of many tasks. Love it.

This is the sharpest knife ever! It takes very little effort to slice up pretty much all meats and vegetables. Great quality. Will last a lifetime if taken care of.
