I used it at Thanksgiving to cut the breast meat up once it was off the bird. Sharp and smooth to use.

I did a lot of research looking for a reasonably priced slicing knife with very good reviews. I found this knife, and ordered it. I received it last week, and, I decided to make a roast so that I could try it out. I have small hands, so I wanted to make sure that it would work for me. I used it to slice the roast, and it was perfect. I am very pleased with my choice.

The media could not be loaded. Of all the knives I purchased, my set of wusthof knives are the best! You absolutely feel the quality, first thing you will notice is the weight, because good steel is used. They are also extremely sharp, so use caution while using! (No britany spears videos) I got a very small cut once while drying a blade, learned my lesson quick. I just love these and they will last a lifetime.

Very nice and sharp out of the package and fairly good balance. Sturdy blade for making straight slices. 10” seems to be good enough for poultry and roasts, I will have to wait and see how that length works for brisket and pork belly at a later date.

This knife is ideal for slicing meat -- it dose a nice and even cut and is easy to control -- I'm sold on Wusthof !!
