This knife was purchased to replace one that disappeared. It is my go to for peeling slicing apples and other fruits and vegetables . Very sharp and sppears to be holding an edge nicely. The only negative and this is my fault,is it's so small it got thrown out with my peeling scraps. So it's advisable to keep track of where one places it.

It works excellent for paring and coring. It stays sharp and isn't a horror to sharpen when it needs it. Ergonomics are very good. Light, easy to use.

I have had this knife before, purchased about 20 yrs. ago. It is go-to knife for almost every kitchen job that does not involve carving. It is weighted enough for you to know you have a quality product for the job but not so heavy that it gets tiring. It fits my hand perfectly. Mine had never been sharpened & while my other knives were being sharpened this was added to the bunch & the blade was badly scratched. That’s why I bought a second one.

Wusthof knives are simply fantastic.These knives are probably a once in a lifetime purchase (unless you find a way to destroy them).Do yourself a favor, buy these knives.One thing worth mentioning. WATCH YOUR FINGERS!These things are so frigging sharp (scalpel sharp) that you MUST be careful when handling them.
