Fits well in my hand, good balance, nice and sharp. Pity this knife is so expensive. Hope it lasts my lifetime.
Yes, you will actually use this knife. When Chef Jean-Pierre recommended this serrated kitchen knife, I wondered how such a small, lightweight thing could be better than my old paring knife. It almost feels cheap in your hand until you start cutting up fruit or whatever, then you will be reaching for this knife instead of the others.
My wife loves Wusthof knives. She has an entire set of them and unfortunately lost the paring knife she had for many years. I purchased this one for her as a replacement, loves it. The grip is a bit thin for me, but perfect for her smaller hands. They aren't cheap but are well worth the price.
Dependable quality and brand
Don’t get me wrong I loved the knife and it worked great as a utility knife. It will slice and dice. It’s just too small and it will get lost. So yup you guessed it I lost it or it was thrown away by accident since it’s so small. So I would recommend the 6 inch version as I had to do after I lost this first one. So if your in the market and your looking at this knife I do highly recommend the brand just recommend a larger blade.
This really sharp knife is perfect for cutting ginger, tomatoes, lemons, and also all things acidic since it's not reactive and hasn't stained from foods. I have a carbon steel knife I also love but it reacts to acid. I have to be super careful not to get raw meat or fish residue on the handle since its handle shouldn't get wet when washing. This new knife doesn't need pampering. It's a creative cook's dream.
Very sharp paring knife. I love it. Cuts everything that I need to cut.
I bought this to use at my work. Most knives we've bought go dull after 2-3 days. We've been using this for a couple of weeks and no issues yet. Highly recommend
Like it very much. Need to pay attention to having the cutting side down when using
This knife not only shows German craftsmanship, but performs beautifully too. Worth every penny spent
