This block does not work well with this set. Holes are bigger, maybe the goal was to have a one size fits all block, but a lot of the knives are too small and do not fit in properly. But I love the knives and the packaging is beautiful.

The wood block fell apart just getting it out of plastic.cheaply made block.bad glue,bad buy..

I am hoping these are not some "knock off" item, because they actually rust when you put them in the dishwasher. I have never had knives do this before. I will say, they are sharp and they do cut well.

I love these knives, they’re the best I’ve ever had and worth every penny. Don’t put them in the dishwasher, you gotta hand wash them or they will dull quickly

I just moved into a new condo this spring and was looking for a set of high quality knives to use in my new kitchen. This set is the most reasonably priced out of the Wusthof forged knife sets. It contains all the essential knives that you need, and they seem like they will last for years.

I purchased this set for my brother during the Thanksgiving sales. If it ever goes on sale again, I would snag up another set. These are such great knives.

Nothing more to say here, the set was perfect, all the essentials for starter chefs (or experienced chefs who are just starting their kitchen). Don't have these knives yet? Buy them. Dishwasher safe, simple and contemporary design, and as sharp as Excalibur.

We bought this after we got married. LOVE THEM. Lost the paring knife. Bought a Henkels replacement. But not nearly the same. Highly recommended.
