  Had others. Ordered new ones that I sent back quickly. Were cheaper but not by much. Paid full price for the wusthoff. And yes indeed. This stuff is just a joy. The speed of prep is something I heard of and never experienced. But it is very true. Actually. It’s fun. If not in budget? Wait until it is. Or may be a sale price sometime. From where I stand: all good.

  I love this carving knife, it is light weight and easy to grip for small hands. I received a couple Wusthof knives this past Christmas and use them everyday. I decided I needed a carving knife too and am so glad I found this one!

  Fresh out of the box, rinsed it off and cut 17lbs of London Broil with it, sliced thin or thick as desired, nice long tongs on fork to hold large steaks for carving. Excellent addition to my knives!

  I have been a customer of Wusthof for over 25 years and this is the last time they will get my business. I ordered this set as a replacement to a carving fork that got destroyed in my dishwasher and its extremely cheap. Both the knife and fork are much cheaper versions of the ones that they are replacing. They feel MUCH lighter and cheaper and, for the money, I will be buying Vitorinox from now on. My father was a butcher and swore by them, so I have already started replacing knives that I have had that are over 75 years old.

  I have two knives of the Classic line and they're very nice. These knives seemed flimsy for Wusthof and couldn't hold a candle to my Classic knives. The plastic of the handle didn't even cover the shank of the blade completely as pictured. Returned them and ordered the Classic version.
