I did extensive review of top quality knives and chose these Wusthof knives. They are much more expensive than what I originally was planning on purchasing, but was looking for knives that would withstand daily use and have outstanding quality.The knives that I received were of obvious high quality as far as look and feel, but I was extremely disappointed in the sharpness. I am not sure if this set had been returned by other buyers due to being defective, but they did not fit the rave reviews. I have returned the set and was surprised to see that they have a 10% restocking fee, which was not clearly pointed out when purchased. Buyer beware-I oought these directly from the Wusthof store in Amazon.
