I love these knives very sharp now I don’t have to saw my food prep I’m very careful
Great knives, very sharp. Very light and easy to use.
By far, the best knives I've ever owned. WARNING: EXTREMELY SHARP!!!
Purchased as a gift for my husband who loves to cook. He was thrilled. The knives are sharp, easy to handle and clean.
I was concerned about country of manufacturing but they seem to be comparable to the set I have that were made in Europe.
I liked how quickly they were able to slice meats.
Neither knife blade is solid and rigid, and therefore not what I expected from a Wuesthoff knife. It flexes - I have to be a lot more careful using it than I would like or than I expected from a quality knife, let alone a Wuesthoff. I recommend another knife for both knives.
The santoku is very sharp with a nice thin spine that tapers nicely to a fine sharp edge. You will need to be more careful with this than most common knifes because it is so thin but it does still seem durable
I got these for my mom for her birthday two years ago. They came razor sharp and have held up very well with daily use. I am just getting ready to sharpen them now. Not because they are dull completely. We own a catering company and these have stood up phenomenal. It’s just time to get them sharper after two years. Probably the best knifes you can get on here.
This was a gift.... and I was hoping wusthof offered a sharpening service as the set came with no warranty information, or any information at all. Then I noticed the price.....This is a knife...a piece of metal with an edge and a handle. I'm sure it's good quality....but since I have no idea what it's made of or whether or not wusthof stands behind it..... HOW WOULD I KNOW?Is this some kind of status symbol? How do they justify the price? The blade is very thin....2mm.... 3/32"? I recommend you choose 2 or 3 other knife sets and use them as gifts...and save your money.
