  So my chopping skills have always been good but this knife is so sharp, I’ve had to refine my chopping skills. I’ve skinned my knuckles a come times superficially. Usually I chop from the top of the knife down to the bottom of the knife. This is the first knife that I’ve gotten that is sharp enough to cut straight down and up and down with.I’ve always heard good things about wustof and now I want a whole set. 🥲

  Does anything a knife should be able to do, bar cutting fresh bread out the oven...might need a bread knife for that

  I ordered this for my sister, who is a chef and culinary instructor as a Christmas gift. I owned this brand of knives for myself and when she was at my house she admired the Wusthof knives in my drawer. I ordered this and a the paring knife for her. She is very frugal with her own kitchen at home so was truly thrilled to have such fine knives for her own home kitchen. I am only sorry I didn't think of it sooner. She is one happy chef at home now.
