  Absolutely gorgeous. I am not a chef and i definitely dont do enough cooking to own one of these. I am simply a knife enthusiast. I simply purchased this because i wanted something beautiful made and something for cool factor. I own about $5000 of hard abuse camping knives. I think this knife is beautiful made. Razor sharp out the box. Sounds beautiful to even tap on the blade. If u have a friend or family member who cooks. This would be an amazing gift.

  This is the knife I have been looking for. This knife is super sharp, which is what I want. If I knew these knives were this good, I would have been purchase one of these knives. Wusthof makes a helluva kitchen knife.

  Ordered three. First had a small nick in the handle. Second had an undersized handle and a rivet sticking out. Third one had very small nick. Ended up keeping the third, it’s a great knife, but for the price I thought the quality control would be tighter.

  As none of the stores near me carry Wusthof knives I depended on Amazon to ship me a couple of versions so I could try out the handle before buying. This series is perfect for me - with the thicker IKON handle in BLACKWOOD (real wood). I returned this so to buy the three-pce. set AND all the other knives in the series. TY TY TY

  Ein großer Handschmeichler der auch noch sehr gut schneidet. Rundum gelungenes Messer.

  This is a quality knife and makes me want to prepare more food. It took me a couple days to get used to it (having used another good knife for years) but I really appreciate it. It is not cheap, but it is true quality that you can feel, so worth it especially since I use it every day. Not regretting it any time soon

  Ich bin ein Messerliebhaber. Obwohl ich zwar eher ein Fan von Japanischen Messer bin hat mich dieses Modell von Wuesthof richtig ueberrascht.Die Qualitaet hier ist 1A. Von der Verarbeitung, ueber das Holz, bis hin zur Schaerfe und der Verpackung. Ich kann das Messer jedem empfehlen. Vorallem als Geschenk ist es eine sichere Wahl die jedem Messerliebhaber Freude bereiten wird.Klar es ist nicht das beste Messer auf dem Markt, aber die Preis Leistung hier ist sehr Fair und man kann nicht viel falsch machen. Ich wuerde jedoch definitiv nicht mehr als 130 EUR bezahlen, da gibt es sonst bessere alternativen fuer das Geld.

  this is an amazing knife.balance, the way it sits in my big hand, quality of blade (even though that was expected), design, finish, gift box- everything is top notch.sheer pleaser to hold it, look at it, cut with it. great job, wusthof! i don't think I'll ever need another 8in (20cm) western blade in my kitchen.

  Mehrere Kochmesser im Preisbereich von 100-150€ angeschaut und in die Hand genommen aber keins lag so gut in der Hand wie das Wüsthof Ikon! Scharf und schnitthaltig sind die Messer in dieser Preisklasse eigentlich alle. Hier gibt es eigentlich nur große Unterschiede in der Ergonomie und da gab es für mich nur einen Gewinner.Die Verarbeitung ist selbstverständlich erstklassig. Es gibt keine Spalten zwischen den Holzgriffschalen und dem Stahl. Das Holz wurde perfekt eingepasst und sieht sehr edel aus. Selbstverständlich darf das Messer nicht in die Spülmaschine aber da gehört kein hochwertiges Messer hinein!Wer ein perfektes Schneidwerkzeug für die Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig.
